78 Covid-19 cases under treatment, five on vent in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: As many as 78 confirmed patients of coronavirus are currently being treated in hospitals in Faisalabad, while five of them are on ventilator support.

Coronavirus has also been confirmed in 46 doctors and paramedics who are quarantined or under treatment at hospitals and homes.

Also, six district administration officers and 15 police personnel have been infected by the coronavirus.  Among them are the assistant commissioners of city and Tandlianwala. There have been 28 deaths due to coronavirus in Faisalabad so far.

The district administration has strongly appealed to citizens to stay indoors due to the spread of the virus.

It asked them to continue to take precautions responsibly.
