Property rows: Thrown out of his own house

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A handicapped man claimed on Tuesday he had been thrown out of his own house by his wife and children over what he described as a property dispute between him and his sons. Police said that Muhammad Jamil Rajput, a resident of People’s Colony, had filed an application with the police. Rajput said that his wife, Salamat Bibi, along with their children, Muhammad Arif, Muhammad Tariq and Haider Ali, had taken over their house and had threatened him with death. He said that they had tried to kill him twice, but he had escaped. He said that he had also sent an application to the district police officer (DPO) saying that a district jail officer, Muhamamd Akram, had visited his house several times and threatened to lock him in the jail. Despite orders by the DPO, the jail official had continued to threaten him.
