Hit-and-run: One died, three injured

Muhammad Yar Asif, the State Life Insurance Corporation area manager died on the spot.

SARGODHA: A man died and three were injured in a hit and run accident on Tuesday. Police said that Muhammad Yar Asif, the State Life Insurance Corporation area manager, Sales Manager Sarwar Qadri, clerk Ghulam Shabbir and an unidentified man, travelling in a car, were hit by a tractor-trolley near Chak 49 Tail near Mitha Masoom bypass. Asif died on the spot while Qadri, Shabbir and the unidentified man were taken to DHQ Hospital, from where they were later shifted to Faiz Memorial Hospital owing to critical condition. Doctors treating them said that the injured were now out of danger.
