Expansion: Bank Alfalah to open 20 branches

KARACHI: Bank Alfalah has announced its intention to open 20 new branches in 2011, which will expand its network to 406 branches, says a press release. In a management conference held recently, the bank reviewed its performance and praised the employees who worked hard for its development. It also reviewed its future strategy for continuous development of the bank. Senior executives highlighted the areas of corporate banking, branch banking and correspondent banking and discussed business avenues in these areas. The bank said it would continue the expansion drive in 2012 as well in a bid to provide products and services of international standards to a large segment of the population. Bank Alfalah takes pride in being backed by the Abu Dhabi Group, one of the largest business groups in the Middle East and the single largest foreign investor in Pakistan. PRESS RELEASE
