RAWALPINDI: Two officials of Rescue 1122 were among the 16 patients discharged from the Rawalpindi Institute of Urology and Kidney Transplant (RIUKT) on Wednesday.

These quarantined people were released after their novel coronavirus (Covid-19) tests came back negative. Rescuers including Majid Abbasi and Raja Faiz had been admitted to RIUKT on May 8, after being diagnosed with Covid-19.

Officials at the hospital and district administration bid all the discharged patients good wishes and presented them with bouquets.

The discharged patients have appealed to the people to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the government including washing hands frequently and also adhere to social distance instructions.
