"We have equipped our hospitals and coronavirus facilities [well] to provide the best possible treatment to patients," he assured.
As per his statement, Sindh's coronavirus tally has reached 16,377 with the emergence of 787 new cases, while the death toll has climbed to 277 with the virus claiming nine more lives. Furthermore, following the recovery of 405 more patients, the total number of recovered patients in the province has reached 4,209.

Besides, giving a geographical breakdown of the newly reported cases, the CM stated that 515 of those belonged to Karachi, with 147 reported from East district, 121 from South district, 109 from Central district, 52 from Malir and 42 from West district. In addition, 31 new cases are confirmed in Shikarpur, 25 in Larkana, 16 in Hyderabad, 14 in ghotki, 13 in Qambar-Shahdadkot, six in Khairpur and three in Jamshoro, he added.
According to details shared by the CM, 11,981 patients are under treatment for the coronavirus in Sindh as of now, among whom 10,485 are isolated at their homes, 838 are housed in isolation centres and 568 in hospitals. Among them, 114 are critically ill, including 31 on ventilators, he said.
