'Money Heist' renewed for season five and six

However, producers aren't sure when the shooting for the upcoming season will begin

Good news for Money Heist fans!

One of the most distinguished shows of Netflix, Money Heist is soon coming up with its fifth season. The sixth season of the show has also been confirmed by a Spanish wesbite Marca.

The crime drama series, created by Alex Pina, is a Spanish television series named La Casa de Papel. It was first aired on 2nd May 2017 and has been a massive hit since then.



Originally it was supposed to be a limited series of two seasons, but later Netflix picked up the show from Antenna 3 and premiered the series worldwide. After receiving tons of positive response, Netflix renewed the series with a raised budget.

According to the Express UK, Season 5 is expected to get released on 5th April 2021. The sixth instalment is also supposed to get aired the same year itself. But nothing has been confirmed by the makers or the broadcaster. One of the main reason why it hasn’t been confirmed officially is because of the present state of situations.

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, it has been strictly ordered to stay indoors and maintain social distancing. All productions and releases have been put on hold or delayed for the next few months. If a similar situation continues, production of Season give won’t be happening until everything is resumed back to normalcy.
