Balochistan govt reports 148 new Covid-19 cases
93% of the total cases are locally transmitted whereas the active cases have touched 2,201
QUETTA: The total number of cases in Balochistan rose to 2,692, with 148 new cases reported on Sunday.
It is pertinent to note that in the last 24 hours, one death has been reported, according to the daily situation report issued by the Balochistan Health Directorate.
The deceased was a 60 year old patient, raising the total number of deaths to 37 all across Balochistan.
93% of the total cases are locally transmitted whereas the active cases have touched 2,201.
As per the spokesperson of the provincial health directorate, GoB health department still awaits results of 235 cases.
In Balochistan 1090 people are still placed in different quarantine centers of province, including 176 in Taftan, 421 in Pishin, 355 in Killa Abdullah, 63 in Zhob, 30 in Lasbela, 35 in Jaffarabad, 35 in Gwadar, 26 in Ziarat and 4 in Khuzdar.
