GoB equipping doctors with safety gears: governor

He urges philanthropists to join the government’s hand in the distribution of ration among daily wagers

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor (retd) Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai said the provincial government has been utilising all resources to equip doctors and health staff with all kinds of safety gears including PPE kits to fight the coronavirus.

“Minor negligence by the general public in pursuing safety precautions might become a source of major damage in Balochistan. Hence the government should strictly implement on SOPs during a smart-lockdown because local transmission of the contagious virus is reaching an alarming level,” the governor said.

He urged philanthropists to join the government’s hand in the distribution of ration among daily wagers and poor families badly impacted by the lockdown.
