TEVTA chairperson calls on governor

TEVTA made over 60,000 medicated masks, 1,000 gloves, 500 face shields, 2,635 sanitisers and 600 PPEs

LAHORE: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chairperson Ali Salman Siddique on Wednesday met Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar at the Governor’s House and briefed him about TEVTA efforts against Covid-19.

A TEVTA spokesperson said the chairperson presented the governor with Coronavirus Protective Kits, prepared by TEVTA comprising medical masks, face shields, hand sanitisers and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The chairperson said that TEVTA had made over 60,000 medicated masks, 1,000 gloves, 500 face shields, 2,635 sanitisers and 600 PPEs, which were distributed to district governments across Punjab. He added that five walkthrough sanitiser gates and splitter valves for ventilators were manufactured.
