KARACHI: Footage of a Kashmiri youth, who India claimed to be a member of the Hizbul Mujahideen, a seperatist group fighting for freedom in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), being humiliated by occupation forces has been doing the rounds on social media.

In the video,Tanveer Ahmer Malik, can be seen tied from the neck as  a soldier tugs away at the rope, while another kicks him saying,"Do you want janaat [Paradise]...Is that what you want?" as he loads his rifle and then proceeds to shout expletives at him.

The video soon went viral with a Twitter user, who goes by the handle Haider posting stills of the video.

He detailed how in the "disturbing footage" Indian soldiers prepare to execute a Kashmiri student without conducting any criminal proceedings against him.

Haider adds that he was "picked up without any legal justification".

Users of the micro-blogging site lambasted New Delhi over the act and heralded Malik for his stand.

Arshal Malik, a netizen, condemned India over the human rights violations in the war-torn valley contrary to the Geneva convention.



Indian journalist Vikas Bhadauria, also shared the video on Twitter.



Vikas claimed that the prisoner was being questioned before being taken into custody.

While The Hindustan Times reported that " Tanveer Ahmad Malik was arrested in Doda district in a case under Sections 120 B,122 of the Indian Penal Code, 7/25 IAA of Unlawful Activities Act"

The Indian news outlet claimed that a pistol and ten rounds of ammunition had been recovered from his possession.
