Supporting the judiciary: PTI to hold sit-in every week

Imran Khan predicted PTI would clean sweep PML-N in next general elections.

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that his party would stage weekly sit-ins in Islamabad from August 6 in order to force the government to comply with the rulings of apex court.

He also inaugurated ‘Jag Utho Tehreek’ and said that the incumbent federal government has so far not implemented 18 rulings of the court. He said that President Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are both corrupt and hesitant to reveal their assets of billions.

He asserted that Nawaz Sharif, for one, should refrain from political rhetoric and make his party members resign from assemblies if he is sincere in his opposition. He predicted that PTI would clean sweep PML-N in the next general elections. “I will contest against Nawaz Sharif from Lahore.”
