Asim Azhar's 'Jo Tu Nah Mila" crosses 100 million views

Asim is now the youngest Pakistani singer to achieve this feat

Asim Azhar's Jo Tu Nah Mila recently crossed 100 million views on YouTube, making him one of the handful of local artists who have achieved this feat.



"It gives me immense honour to become the youngest and only the 4th Pakistani artist (after Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sahab, Atif Aslam and Momina Mustehsan) to have 2 or more songs in the 100 million club.  Thank you. I love you guys," he tweeted.

The Ishqiya singer also shared the news on his Instagram. In one of the comments, Azhar talked about how he is overwhelmed by the achievement. "Still can't process it. Running out of words.  To some people in some part of the world, this might be a regular achievement, but to come from this part of the world, facing obstacles, facing the YouTube ban, it was very hard," he said.

Fans and peers alike wished Azhar well. Hania Amir and Iqra Aziz, the latter also being featured in the video, congratulated him while his followers continued to sing praises of him on social media. "One of the best songs I heard in recent years from Pakistan. Keep it up!" one user tweeted.





"Wow brother ! More power to you and your future Raised fist endeavors," another wrote. One fan talked about is favourite part of the song. "When you start that sunni nahein zamanay ne teri meri kahanian line that is the most clutch performance in a decade right there. You are a humble guy and prayers with you."



"Many many congrats on your success you deserve this man moment when I listen to your songs I just immerse in it the groping is ineffable jumping to conclusion you the among the best," another fan wished the singer.
