If you haven't really watched the highly-recommended drama, Diriliş: Ertuğrul, yet, then what is it that you've really been doing this quarantine?

Thanks to Prime Minister Imran Khan's request to broadcast Urdu dubbed version of the show on PTV, it has been easier for the audience to watch the much-hyped show.

Now, the PTI leader, Faisal Javed Khan has shared another Turkish show after Diriliş: Ertuğrul for the youth to watch, which has been recommended by the PM.

"After Dirilis: Ertugrul PM Imran Khan wants Yunus Emre يونس امره (Aşkin Yolculuğu) to be telecast in Pakistan. Yunus Emre (the Dervish) was an Islamic poet, a mystic & a poor villager. Story of a great Sufi wholly dedicated to ALLAH & searching for unity. Yet another hit created by Mehmet Bozdag is a Journey of Transformation," the senator shared on Twitter.

"Yunus Emre was well versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th-century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi. Serial is a great example of meticulous attention to detail work," he added.

Earlier, a video of the premiere interacting with the media went vital as he shared his two cents on why the Turkish show Diriliş: Ertuğrul is a must-watch for the youth of the country.

In a minute-and-a-half long clip, the PM commented, “We’ve always had content from Hollywood and Bollywood which was then being showcased here. A third end culture was being promoted. That’s why I want our youth to know the difference between our values and theirs.”

He went on to add, “We have a culture with romance and history as well, however, it is also filled with Islamic values. Sadly, the content from Bollywood is full of vulgarity, which wasn’t the case three or four decades ago.”

The premiere continued, “Drug culture, sex crimes are on a high. I want a different culture to be aired so our youth can know that there is a way of life apart from questionable shows that have been airing.”

Nawaal Howa | 3 years ago | Reply It was disappointing that Netflix aired all five seasons leaving me searching for a high quality streaming site for season 6. I STILL havent found it. Why was this season discontinued on Netflix? Im a paying client with this provider, why subscribe to another just to conclude a series I was privvy to on Netflix.
Rafia | 3 years ago | Reply Wow! Hats off to our PM. He has started this new job. It's better that you and your cabinet should watch such dramas and understand and implement. Rather than proposing them to the nation. Better work for the nation and country rather than talking and playing blame games all the time.
