Princess Diana may have attempted suicide four times

An upcoming documentary series 'Being Me: Diana' explores the late Royal's mental suffering

It's been 23 years since Princess Diana's tragic death, however, she continues to garner intrigue. Since her passing stories relating to the latter part of her life and mysterious circumstances relating to her death.

More recently, an upcoming documentary series on the life of Princess Diana claims that she attempted suicide four times, reported Mirror. The series called, Being Me: Diana, explore her mental suffering. It will see how the late Royal coped with mental stress resulting from an unhappy marriage and a difficult childhood.

Being Me: Diana would use footage of the Princess' speeches along with certain interviews of her in which she discussed what she was going through before her divorce from Prince Charles.

A lot of the footage included in the series hasn't been seen before which can make it a difficult viewing for her two children, Prince William, and Harry. It is being developed by DSP the company that produced 2011's 127 hours. While it is being planned for Netflix, as of now it hasn't been commissioned.
