The coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown to prevent its spread, although a challenge, is an opportunity to be creative, said Indonesian Ambassador Iwan S Amri.

Far from home and caught in coronavirus lockdown, the Indonesian students living at boarding facility of International Islamic University Islamabad got a cheer up call from their embassy in shape of a virtual iftar party on the first day of Ramazan.

“In every difficulty we find convenience because every crisis provides greater opportunity if we innovatively strive to overcome the challenges,” Amri said in a video message. Besides Ambassador Amri, his wife Rita Amri, embassy officials and over 230 Indonesian students of IIUI attended the virtual event.
