Police look to increase model stations in Karachi

Suggest merger of various police stations into single model stations

KARACHI: A proposal for increasing the number of model police stations in Karachi has been submitted to relevant higher authorities.

In the proposal prepared by Karachi administration DIG Dr Amin Yousufzai, it has been suggested that SITE A-Section police station and SITE B-Section police station be combined into a single SITE police station.

Besides, the proposal suggests the merger of Madina Colony police station into Baldia Town police station, Pakistan Bazaar police station and Iqbal Market police station into a single Model Pakistan Bazaar police station, PIB police station into Jamshed Quarters police station, Brigade police station into Soldier Bazaar police station, Mehmoodabad police station, Tipu Sultan police station and Baloch Colony police station into a single Mehmoodabad police station, Aziz Bhatti police station into New Town police station, Sachal police station into Mobina Town police station, SITE Super Highway Industrial Area police station into Sohrab Goth police station, Nabi Bakhsh police station into Garden police station, Paposh Nagar police station into Nazimabad police station, Gabol Town police station into New Karachi Industrial Area police station, Yousuf Plaza police station into Jauharabad police station and Hyderi police station into North Nazimabad police station.
