IEP-RIC has decided to hold its regular lecture series online in wake of coronavirus outbreak

ISLAMABAD:
The Institution of Engineers, Pakistan, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Centre (IEP-RIC) has decided to hold its regular lecture series online in wake of coronavirus outbreak.
Accordingly, it held its first such event for the benefits of the engineers. It is a part of the institution’s ongoing professional development activities.
IEP-RIC Secretary Gp Captain (retired) Engr. Najamuddin said that for their inaugural online lecture, they discussed Project Procurement Management. It was delivered by Karakoram International University Vice-Chancellor Dr Attaullah Shah, who is also the vice-chairman of IEP’s local chapter.
He also spoke about the procurement of consultants, price adjustments, dispute resolution and claims under the FIDIC.
