Islamabad mayor calls for helping destitute

Sheikh Ansar Aziz says that in the current situation, we will not leave our brothers alone

ISLAMABAD: People should not leave their fellow citizens alone during these trying times, Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Ansar Aziz said at a ration distributing ceremony on Friday.

“We should always take care of each other,” he said appreciating the initiative of food distribution held in Malpur Union Council of the federal capital with the help of philanthropists. He was accompanied by Malpur UC Chairman Chaudhry Mushtaq and IMC spokesperson Syed Mohsin Shirazi. Aziz said that they are trying to provide rations wherever needed.

“In the current situation, we will not leave our brothers alone and will continue to serve them," he said, adding that there were difficult times ahead and we must overcome them because ease comes after every difficulty. If our brothers need more rations, we will try to provide them.
