QUETTA: Provincial President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has slammed the Tehreek-e-Insaf led federal government, saying that the prime minister and his cabinet have lost the public trust.

“The incompetent prime minister has pushed Pakistan into a sludge of destruction. Instead of taking the opposition parties into confidence, the PTI is ruining the country through its flawed policies,” Baloch told a news conference.

Accompanied by Secretary General of PML-N Jamal Shah Kakar, Baloch called for new general elections in Pakistan.

“Despite numerous attempts to identify the federal government’s flaws, the prime minister and his cabinet didn’t change their way of ruling which is now jeopardising the future of Pakistan,” he said, adding that the whole nation has been handed over to “non-elected” people.

Talking about the coronavirus outbreak, Baloch said the PM should have asked for opposition’s support instead of continuing his “hate politics”.

“The National Accountability Bureau and Federal Investigation Agency couldn’t prove a single corruption allegation against the opposition leaders despite government’s tirade and charges,” Baloch said.
