Social Mobilisers: Govt urged to raise salaries
The government should stop its anti-public policies and ensure provision of education, health and employment to the people. This was said by Ayub Malik, Secretary General Awami Party Pakistan, while talking to a delegation of Social Mobilisers of the Population Welfare Department, said a press release issued by the party. He expressed concern that the social mobilisers are paid Rs4,000 per month, which is a violation of the minimum wage set by the government. If the government fails to address the issue, APP will have no choice but to campaign against the government, he added.
