Man hit by train after posing for TikTok video

KARACHI: A man was killed after he was hit by a train in at Jumma Goth railway station in Bhains Colony, in the limits of Landhi Railway Police Station.

According to the police, he was posing a video for TikTok challenge when the train hit him.

The police said that the deceased was running on the railway track when a train’s engine hit him, causing a severe head injury. However, his friends, who were shooting the video remained safe, they said, adding that they shifted the victim to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Kashif, son of Imtiaz, who was a resident of Bhains Colony.

Further investigation of the matter is underway.
