LAHORE:
The district government has decided to launch a drive against vendors overcharging on basic commodities during Ramazan. DCO Ahad Cheema said that strict action will be taken against hoarders, profiteers and violators of the Price Act. He directed the price magistrates to keep a strict check to ensure that no one charged more than the official rates of the Ramazan Bazaars. He said that all shopkeepers and vendors were required by law to display price lists and issue receipts to every buyer.
