Netflix adds a ‘screen lock’ feature to prevent accidental pauses
Netflix has introduced a new “Screen Lock” to prevent accidental touches
We all love binge-watching our favorite shows on Netflix, however, sometimes accidentally touching the screen can pause playback or move location which can be quite frustrating.
To counter this, the popular streaming service introduced a new “Screen Lock” button for Android a few days back which prevents accidental touches.

The new button is available alongside options for episode, subtitles and more.

Once the button is clicked it removes entire Netflix UI- including play/pause and forward option to get the UI back you need to simply press the screen lock button twice.
This new feature is particularly handy for parents that have toddlers that keep pressing the UI element while watching their favorite show.
At present, this feature is rolled out for Android users and does not show up on iOS.
