Governor lauds president’s role in Ramazan plan

Says federal govt has issued a notification precluding all mosques and prayer leaders to ensure safety precautions

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor (retd) Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Sunday said the president set a new precedent by addressing the concerns of religious scholars.

“After a successful sitting and consensus with religious scholars and leaders, the federal government has issued a notification precluding all mosques and prayer leaders to ensure safety precautions during Friday and Traveeh prayers,” he said while meeting a delegation of religious scholars and leaders.
