Covid-19 infections continue to multiply in Multan

MULTAN: Two more patients have been undergoing treatment at Nishtar Hospital Multan after being tested positive for corona. The number of coronavirus infected patients being kept for treatment in isolation wards has risen to 20.

As many as 15 individuals have been tested based on symptoms, whose reports are yet to come.

Sources revealed that 20 corona infected patients and 15 suspected patients, whose reports are yet to come are all being treated and kept at Nishtar Hospital's isolation wards, respectively.

This group of 20 corona positive patients includes doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff that was tested positive for the virus in the last five days.

However, the 33 staff members of Nishtar Hospital are still undergoing treatment at Nishtar Hospital and Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, Muzaffargarh.

They will be re-tested for coronavirus in one to two days. Two new patients have been tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.

In the past three weeks, a total of 65 patients have been tested positive for coronavirus.
