KARACHI:
A man died after falling from a coconut tree, while another drowned in the sea on Thursday.
Nazeer, 55, died after he fell from a coconut tree in Federal B Area. According to Gulberg police, he had been cutting coconuts from the tree when his feet slipped, causing him to fall onto the road. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, Noor Alam, 60, drowned while bathing in the sea near Korangi Fish Harbour. The police said a diver tried to save him but it was too late. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
