Abbas took it to Twitter to drag the public and media alike for 'wasting' their time in turning a certain comment from a certain someone into national news.
"Someone called someone's mother 'mama' today and it became national news," she tweeted, adding, "Surprised to know we are all locked in Quarantine but guess didn't lock our inner demons."
Someone called someone's mother 'mama' today and it became national news. Surprised to know we are all locked in Quarantine but guess didn't lock our inner demons. You wasted 3 weeks of your life if you still thought this was the biggest news of the month! #LocktheGossip

The tweet referred to model Sadaf Kanwal's apparent comments on actor Shahroz Sabzwari's latest Instagram post with his mother. The comment (that is now presumed deleted) read, "Happy Birthday Mama," with a rose emoji.
It's not exactly a secret that actor Sabzwari and Kanwal are good friends. Post his divorce from the country's sweetheart Syra Yousuf, this friendship doesn't sit well with a lot of people - some people also accuse Kanwal of ruining their marriage.
Syra, Shahroz end seven years of marriage due to 'irreconcilable differences'
Naturally, the comment garnered intense criticism on social media and this, evidently, triggered Abbas to remind people about what should really matter - "You wasted 3 weeks of your life if you still thought this was the biggest news of the month! #LocktheGossip," she wrote.
Clearly, Abbas has her priorities in check during the lockdown!
