KARACHI:

The court hearing the Sarfraz Shah trial was unable to record the statements of all six personnel of the Abdullah Shah Ghazi Rangers and a civilian as the lawyers were on a protest and strike on Thursday. The case was adjourned till Friday morning by Judge Bashir Ahmed Khoso.

The Karachi Bar Association and Malir Bar Association are protesting the second killing of a lawyer, Muhammad Junaid, who was gunned down on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, the defence in the Sarfraz Shah case moved a joint application requesting that in view of the protest by the fraternity, the hearing be put off.
