756 food hampers distributed

Masks have been delivered to 2,718 persons, sanitisers to 130 families, Zinc kits to 100 families

MIANWALI: On the direction of the government, the Social Welfare department in collaboration with NGOs and other rich people distributed 756 food hampers among the poor families.

During a briefing at the office of additional deputy commissioner revenue on Thursday, the deputy director of social welfare department said masks had been delivered to 2,718 persons, sanitisers to 130 families, Zinc kits to 100 families and awareness to prevent coronavirus was given door to door to 981 families. He further revealed that pamphlets regarding precautionary measures during the pandemic, as directed by the government of Punjab, was distributed among 1,245 people.
