The gang leader, a key figure in Lyari's violent gang war, was reportedly sent to the city's main jail after the end of his military trial.
He had been arrested by the Rangers during a targeted operation on the outskirts of Karachi in January 2016, while he was attempting to enter the city.
The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons from his possession.
Later, Baloch was presented before an anti-terrorism court, which remanded him to the Rangers' custody for 90 days.
Following this, Baloch was given into the Pakistan Army's custody under the Pakistan Army Act 1952.
