‘Health dept playing role to curb virus’
31 patients admitted in Sargodha’s quarantine centre, 24 tested positive
SARGODHA: Apart from treating patients of coronavirus and preventing its spread in Sargodha division, the health department to play an effective role in raising awareness in all four districts, said Health Services Director Dr Rana Abdullah.
He expressed these views while speaking to the media on Monday. He added that 31 patients had been admitted in Sargodha’s quarantine centre of which 24 patients tested positive for coronavirus whereas 60 persons’ test report was yet to come, who were admitted in quarantine centre and other places.
“As many as 470 persons of different mosques of the district and 95 houses of Peoples Colony had been quarantined.” The director further said that 51 pilgrims had been shifted to the quarantine set up at the Agriculture College in Sargodha. The heath director maintained that there was no patient of coronavirus in Khushab and Mianwali districts.
