We are scared: Salman Khan on COVID-19 crisis

The actor has talked about how he hasn't seen his father in 3-weeks

Salman Khan shared a new video with nephew Nirvaan, where he talked about feeling scared in lockdown, reported Hindustan Times. “I haven’t seen my father for three weeks, Nirvaan hasn’t seen his father for three weeks. We are scared, and we are saying it with full bravery,”  he said.

The Dabaang star then went on to talk about how the proverb 'jo dar gye woh margin (Whoever is scared is dead)', doesn't hold true in the current corona crisis. "Jo dar gia samjho margia dialogue woh yahan apply nahi karta. Jo dar gia samjho bach giya air ussney bachalia (The dialogue doesn't apply here. Infact whoever is cared is safe and is saving others)," he said.

Khan and Nirvaan further talked about how there is no point to bravery in all this as they promoted social distancing. "I hope the longer we stay indoors, the sooner this ends," said Nirvaan.

In a previous video, the actor had urged the public to take the ongoing pandemic seriously. “Appeal ye hai ki govt aapke liye aur hum sab ke liye bol rahi hai, Isko seriously lo aur afwahein mat phailao (My appeal is that you follow what the government is saying and don’t spread rumours),” he said.

Among other things, more recently pledged to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry during the lockdown.
