Nevertheless, Jamil now seems hopeful as she uploaded an elaborate note on her Instagram with a smiling picture of herself post surgery. She said, "Interesting night. Mostly managed crazy physical pain as body healed and snuggled into comfy sheets. Thank God for those!
The nurses were amazing and I feel super blessed."
She added, "Today is another day. Yaay! Will never take another sunrise for granted. Another day to live, heal and be with you all. Listen to soothing music, read, pray, thank Allah and catch up on my desi dramas!"

Jamil then hinted at how she had become more in touch with her body "Pacing myself as I get tired easily. Which is my body telling me to rest. Listening to my body carefully. Going as Alkaline as I can."
She also said her Lymph node biopsy results will be out in 10 days and she will know if its chemotherapy or radiation that's required with her hormones treatment or both.

Jamil said she was avoiding sugar, dairy, meat and anything that makes her nauseous or tired. The Balu Mahi actor also described the view from her window as she cherished whatever she could.
"Loving the cherry blossom outside my window and the bird songs my friends sent me. Big smile to you with a social distance hug!
Thank you for the strength of your prayers and love that helped me heal. Thank you."
Prior to her surgery, President Dr Arif Alvi had wished her the best along with other celebrities and fans.
