Two COVID-19 patients die in K-P

The street where the deceased lived has been sealed while his family has been quarantined.

PESHAWAR: At least four coronavirus (COVID-19) patients–two confirmed and two suspected– died on Saturday at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH). The LRH spokesperson said that at least four people have died at the LRH. Out of the four, at least two were COVID-19 patients while test results of the remaining two have not been received yet, he said.

The spokesperson said the two patients had tested positive for the coronavirus. One of the deceased was a resident of Police Colony and had recently returned from Tableeghi Jamaat tour to Gujranwala. The street where the deceased lived has been sealed while his family has been quarantined.

The other deceased, the spokesperson said was a resident of Khanmast Colony in the provincial capital and was admitted to LRH on April 1 in critical condition.
