Quarantine centre established in Naseerabad

Virus has claimed one life in the province and affected 185 people

QUETTA: In view of increasing number of coronavirus patients in Balochistan, the provincial government has established an isolation ward and quarantine centre in Naseerabad district. The facilities comprise 146-bed isolation ward and 245-bed quarantine centre. “Balochistan government has established the facility in order to provide timely health facilities to patients affected by coronavirus pandemic,” said Naseerabad Commissioner Abid Saleem. The commissioner laid stress on taking timely measures to handle the contagion.

According to the tally, the virus has claimed one life in the province and affected 185 people out of which 17 have recovered. Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements for the prevention of coronavirus pandemic in Naseerabad, the commissioner vowed to personally monitor the facilities at the isolation ward and quarantine centre.
