Clashes kill 36 militants in Bajaur

Security forces struck militant hideouts in Bajaur Agency, killing 36 militants and wounding several others.

Five of these militants were killed when helicopter gunships targeted militant's sanctuaries in Ghandi and Massir area. Heavy artillery was used in the attack by security forces. Clashes also took place in Khar.

Eleven militants were arrested and a large cache of arms and ammunitions was recovered in the operation.
