Hajj Facilities: Larger medical staff for pilgrims

Pilgrims belonging to the same district will be accommodated in one flight and one building, an official said.

ISLAMABAD: The staff of the Medical Hajj Mission has been increased from 260 to 540 in order to facilitate the intending pilgrims.

Under the government scheme, one dispensary will be set up at each residential building acquired for the pilgrims. The facility, equipped with doctors and paramedical staff, will be functional round-the-clock. Pilgrims belonging to the same district will be accommodated in one flight and one building, an official said. Pakistan International Airlines will allot terminals in advance to save time for the pilgrims. The Ministry of Religious Affairs will also launch an awareness campaign to facilitate the intending pilgrims.
