Singer Shamoon Ismail slammed for racist comment on coronavirus
And his apology only made people say that he needs to hire a publicist
Singer Shamoon Ismail came under fire after he tweeted about the coronavirus being possibly started from a Chinese person wanting to eat a bat. The tweet which has since been deleted was perceived as racist by many who went on to demand an apology from the Taare singer.
Shamoon did go on to apologise for his crass comments, however, not everyone was satisfied by his tone.

"I never mean to be insensitive. Apologies if I hurt you," he said.
Many went on to tell Shamoon that this was perhaps not the best way to apologise.

Following the backlash on Twitter for his apology supposedly being superficial, Shamoon tweeted about how he didn't owe anyone anything.

"I have corrected myself to set an example cause people look up to me and I am answerable to a higher authority. Not because I am scared of a bunch and getting canceled. I am not pushed on your TV or radio or on a subscription that's paid for. I don't owe anyone anything," he said.
Strings, Shamoon and a Saturday night for broken hearts
In another tweet he criticised those that were judging his intentions.

"When u apologise to a person and they tell u to apologise differently because they think they're God and have the right to doubt your intentions. Roll a spliff and call dominos," he said.
The singer's comments were again taken in bad taste and he was trolled yet again.
Should've left this in the drafts
