Rihanna reveals plans about starting a family without a partner

The singer will also be gracing us with some new music after four-long years

Rihanna has been quite mum on the music front for four years now, but it seems like the songstress is working in silence. That's not all, she also has plans about starting her own family, reported E! News.

Talking to the British Vogue, Rihanna revealed that she has been hard at work for the past few years. She has a hugely successful makeup brand under her belt and is also head of Fenty Maison.

Not to mention, family is also very much on the cards for her. Rihanna shared that she wants "three or four of 'em (children) by the time she's 42 — with or without a partner."

She also explained what she meant about the 'partner' bit. "I feel like society makes me want to feel like, 'Oh, you got it wrong…' They diminish you as a mother if there's not a dad in your kids' lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that's the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child," she said.

Her personal life isn't the only thing to entice fans at this point though, specially since she's had a four-year-long hiatus from making music - save the 40-second feature on PartyNextDoor's latest track.

"I can't say when I'm going to drop (music), but I am very aggressively working on music," she revealed. She also confirmed that the reggae album she promised fans is very much happening.

"I feel like I have no boundaries. I've done everything—I've done all the hits, I've tried every genre—now I'm just, I'm wide open. I can make anything that I want," she expressed.

The Barbadian bombshell's last album ANTI bagged her the American Music Award for Favorite Album Soul/R&B, and also became the first album by a black female artist to spend 200 weeks on the Billboard 200.
