Kanika Kapoor shared an emotional post on Instagram after testing positive for coronavirus for the fourth consecutive time, reported Hindustan Times.

Sharing a picture that read, “Life teaches us to make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life,” Kanika assured her fans she wasn't in the ICU.

The Baby Doll singer also hoped that her next test would come negative so that she can be with her kids and family. “Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family. Miss them!” she wrote.

Kapoor recently became the subject of controversy after she tested positive for COVID-19. The hit-maker had returned to Mumbai from London after which she attended three parties, according to he father.

She was subsequently shifted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS). In a recent interview, one of her family members noted that Kapoor wasn't responding well to treatments.

“We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery,” one of her family members was quoted as saying.

Doctors at the SGPGIMS, however, maintain that Kapoor is in a stable condition.
