COVID-19: Two FC personnel quarantined in Kalam
Virus has claimed 20 lives in Pakistan and 28 patients have fully recovered
PESHAWAR: Two members of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) deployed in Swat have been quarantined in Kalam on Monday after developing mild COVID-19 symptoms.
Officials privy to the development stated that the two personnel had recently travelled to district Charsadda, hence they were quarantined.

Officials also stated that the two FC personnel were quarantined in a PTDC motel in Kalam.
“Their [FC personnel] health condition is absolutely fine but as a precautionary step, we have quarantined them,” District Officer FC Hina Minawar told The Express Tribune.
A total of three people had tested positive from district Swat from 38 suspected cases. 11 have tested negative whereas lab results of 24 are still awaited.

The nationwide tally of COVID-19 patients has crossed 1,620 with 508 cases in Sindh, 593 in Punjab, 144 in Balochistan, 195 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 128 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 51 in Islamabad and six in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The virus has claimed 20 lives in Pakistan. On the other hand, 28 patients have fully recovered.
