289 held for lockdown violations

KARACHI: The police arrested 289 persons across Sindh, including 84 from Karachi, for violating lockdown orders on Sunday and Saturday.

According to a Sindh Police spokesperson, 26 cases for lockdown violations were registered in Karachi, while 72 FIRs were registered across Sindh against the violators, under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
