A day after Prince Charles announced that he was diagnosed with COVID-19, he appeared to be in good spirits on the Clarence House Instagram Story as he participated in the Clap for Carers initiative, a way for citizens to thank the British National Health Service (NHS) for its hard work during the coronavirus pandemic.

The video showed Charles and his wife, Camilla, participating, albeit separately, by clapping. The Daily Mail captured the moment and posted it to her Twitter account. The two are self-isolating at their Scottish home, Birkhall.

Hello! reported that Charles was "back at his desk working" after his diagnosis and setting a good example for everyone by "conducting meetings by phone and video conferencing."

In addition to Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a video of their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, clapping to applaud the NHS, too.

In the wake of Prince Charles's diagnosis, members of the British Royal family have taken precautions by isolating themselves. The Queen, who saw Charles on March 12, is at Windsor Castle with Prince Philip.

Did Kanika Kapoor give coronavirus to Prince Charles? Netizens seem to think so

"Her Majesty The Queen remains in good health," read a statement from the palace. "The Queen last saw The Prince of Wales briefly after the investiture on the morning of 12 March and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare."

Speculation over Prince Charles' coronavirus diagnosis trended over social media yesterday, with many pointing the finger at Indian singer Kanika Kapoor for 'infecting' the British Royal with the virus.

Kanika tested positive for coronavirus and tried to evade authorities, with eagle-eyed Twitter users digging up pictures of the singer with the heir to the British throne, allegedly from 'last week.'

In one of the pictures, which have now gone viral thanks to hundreds of people tweeting and re-tweeting them, Kanika is seen in an orange dress, standing and chatting with Prince Charles.
