After COVID-19, death from 'hantavirus' causes epidemic concern in China

The death of a person who has discovered hantavirus from mice in China has caused new outbreaks of concern

ANKARA: China's official broadcaster Global Times reported that a person with hantavirus detected in Yunnan province in the western part of the country died on the bus while traveling to Shandong province for work.

The report also stated that 31 people on the bus were tested.



Following the news of the Global Times, comments were made that a new outbreak could occur on social media, the "hantavirus" label on Twitter became a global trend.
