ANKARA: China's official broadcaster Global Times reported that a person with hantavirus detected in Yunnan province in the western part of the country died on the bus while traveling to Shandong province for work.

The report also stated that 31 people on the bus were tested.

Following the news of the Global Times, comments were made that a new outbreak could occur on social media, the "hantavirus" label on Twitter became a global trend.

No epidemic hazard

Hantaviruses that infect humans through contact with mice or mouse urine, saliva, or feces cause disease called "Hantavirus Lung Syndrome" (HPS). IR than people who do not make the hantavirus outbreak danger to human transmission.
