Governor inaugurates helpline at KEMU

Punjab governor says 25 additional telemedicine call centres will be functioning all across the province

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has inaugurated Punjab Telemedicine Helpline Centre in King Edward Medical University (KEMU) where doctors will ensure their presence round the clock.

The governor said that 25 additional telemedicine call centres will be functioning all across Punjab, including the provincial capital, within a week, while more than 3,000 doctors have so far been registered with us for telemedicine centres. “The government is taking effective steps to control the spread of coronavirus.
