Holy Month’s Prices: Revenue officers to ensure prices remain fixed

Revenue officers to ensure prices of essential commodities are checked on a daily basis during the month of Ramazan.

Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Zahid Ali Abbasi has directed the revenue officers throughout the district to ensure that the prices of essential commodities are checked on a daily basis during the month of Ramazan.

He was addressing a meeting which had been called for re-fixing the prices of essential commodities’ at his office. Abbasi asked the revenue officers to frequently visit markets to monitor the rates of consumer goods so that the average consumer is not over charged. He also directed the officers to persuade shopkeepers to display their rate list in their shops.
