Colleges proposed as quarantine units

Proposed sites for isolation wards included Girls College Marriabad, Girls College Quetta Cantt

QUETTA: Quetta District Health Department on Saturday issued a list of colleges and schools, suggesting the provincial government the sites should be given the status of quarantine units and isolation wards, according to a statement issued by the department.

As per the list, the suggested quarantine centres included Benazir School Haza Town Quetta having capacity of 50 beds, Polytechnic Girls and Boys colleges having capacity of 35 beds, Tameer-e-Nu College Eastern bypass having capacity of 35 beds, Government Boys College Kuchlak having capacity of 18 beds, RHC Barozai having capacity of five beds, Girls College Satellite Town having capacity of 15 beds, Boys School Pashtoonabad having capacity of 10 beds and  Degree College Quetta Cantt having capacity of 25 beds.

Besides, the proposed sites for isolation wards included Girls College Marriabad having 40 rooms, Girls College Quetta Cantt having 25 rooms etc.
