Exploring opportunities: Businesswomen attend fair in China

to introduce Balochistan’s embroidery and dresses in an exhibition organised in the Chanudue and Kuming cities.

QUETTA: A delegation of Women Chamber of Commerce Quetta has visited China to introduce Balochistan’s embroidery and dresses in an exhibition organised in the Chanudue and Kuming cities. A press release issued on Tuesday said that a delegation, led by president Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industries (QCCI) Fehmida Kausar Jamali, set up stalls in the exhibition to introduce dresses and dry fruits from Balochistan in China with an aim to find a new market for female entrepreneurs of the province. The QCCI president also met with representatives of delegations from SAARC nations. Jamali told delegates that a large part of Balochistan’s population comprises women who are engaged in running small businesses in different parts of the province.
